Our first Big Event The Weekend of Hope and Understanding June 24th and 25th 2005 Went very well.  While we were unable to to secure support from our Diocese We did have Television, and Newspaper coverage. During Saturdays event we were informed that a survivor of Priest sexual abuse who had heard about the Event had contacted SNAP already.  Our hope is that this event will reach out to many more victims, and start them on their way to recovery.  We also hope that our Diocese will see that these people need compassion from our church leaders, and will join us with their support in this endeavor. We expect nothing less from our leaders than to practice what they preach.
